Are you a seeker for understanding, or an inquisitive explorer wanting to see your own life direction and purpose more clearly?

Around the new moon of each month, I send out a simple writing prompt for you to think about, journal on, express in essay, poetry, art, however you wish.

Sign up to receive this stimulus for your own growth each month.

Get yourself an easy-flowing writing pen and lots of paper, or – your computer. Plan how to keep your thoughts together over time.

Here’s an easy prompt to get you started:

GOODNESS    Think of a person or several people that you would call “Good People.”

Really feel the presence of each of them in your memory.

What is it about them that makes them feel to you like a good person?  Think of what your own definition is in contrast to what you’ve heard from society, school, church, movies, etc.  Remember, there are no “perfect” people!  We all have our growing edge, so “good” is not perfect or finished.

After thinking on this for awhile, try to describe one of these people in a way that another person could experience them as you do – What actions have you seen them do?  How do they carry themselves, how do they speak, what do they say?  How do you feel when you’re with them?
